Admirals launched their Supreme plug-in for the MetaTrader platform back in 2018, and so far, the take up amongst its loyal client base has been excellent. The MT4 or MT5 Supreme version is free for all clients. It addresses many of the gaps for improvement MetaQuotes as a firm had not spotted.
Admirals approached the plug-in from the trader’s standpoint.
What additions would need to take place to make the award-winning Meta Trader platforms superior to the competition?
What upgrades would benefit traders in terms of execution, analysis, chart use, fundamental research and technical analysis?
Admirals have continued with the programme over the past three years. Since the initial version of Supreme was released, the Admirals tech and development unit has been busy tweaking the platform to ensure clients can get the best out of it.
This development cycle is continuous, and the team at Admirals intends to launch other improvements throughout 2021.
The idea behind the Supreme enhancement was to build on the success of MetaTrader and add features and benefits to a platform already regarded as the number 1 for progressive traders globally.
The Supreme edition allows users to improve their analysis and trading decision making. The plug-in works on both MetaTrader MT4 and MetaTrader MT5, and there are over 60 additions to the standard MetaTrader platform.
Some of the top features include.
Global Opinion is a feature that reveals the market sentiment of worldwide traders for specific financial instruments.
The Mini Terminal is a valuable trade management tool allowing traders to open and manage trading positions.
The Trade Terminal is an efficient way to manage all your accounts and orders in one place.
The Tick Chart Trader allows you to see the price movements on a low time frame. You can trade directly from the tick chart, export data, and switch different chart types.
You can stay connected with real-time news delivered directly within the MetaTrader platform.
The Indicator Package features an extensive collection of valuable indicators designed to help your trading. These are additions to the standard technical indicators already embedded in the MetaTrader platforms.
The Trading Simulator allows you to test your strategies, a vital tool before committing real funds to the market.
The Mini Chart allows you to position multiple time frames and chart types in one overall chart.
One addition that was lacking in the standard MetaTrader platforms was pivot points, support and resistance. Many traders who trade price action consider pivot points to be essential to their method and strategy.
Previously, you had to search the MetaTrader database and codebase to find the pivot point feature. Admirals have saved you the task with this well thought out and overdue addition.
But Admirals didn’t become complacent with the Supreme plug-in; they have continued to improve their platform since its launch. In 2020 they added the Watermark Indicator and Spread Recorder feature.
The Watermark Indicator allows you to display symbols and account information directly on the chart without cluttering your window.
With the click of a button, you can access spread data, swap costs, the next candle countdown, and see your current profit/loss on an instrument.
The Spread Recorder was previously only available for MetaTrader 4, and the enhanced version is now available for MT5.
The enhancement displays your current, min/max, and average spreads for all your trading instruments and positions and allow you to record the spread costs over a selected period.
If you look at, for example, the major FX pair EUR/USD, you can quickly establish the typical spreads over a select period, a crucial comparison tool for scalpers and day traders.
Not only does this give you an idea of the sustained low spreads Admirals offer, but the feature also illustrates the best times to trade if you want to secure the most competitive spreads.
A significant advantage of the plug-in is its speed of installation. It takes seconds to install. Once installed, you don’t have to sign in and out; the platform keeps you logged in.
Downloading the Admiral Markets Supreme Edition plug-in for both live and demo accounts is straightforward.
You visit the Admiral Markets website and open an account to access your MetaTrader account.
Then, you select Start Trading from the drop-down menu, where you will need to sign up and create an account.
From there, you choose which of the two platforms you want to install the plug-in on: MT4 or MT5.
