In a recently published report, Fitch Ratings noted that they do not expect the European Central Bank (ECB) to make any changes to the key interest rates until 2025, as reported by Reuters.
Fitch Ratings further added that they see the ECB's bond-buying to continue until at least 2024.
Market reaction
This headline doesn't seem to be having a noticeable impact on the shared currency's performance against its major rivals. As of writing, the EUR/USD pair was trading at its highest level since early August at 1.1856, gaining 0.42% on a daily basis.
