Richmond Federal Reserve Bank President Thomas Barkin noted on Monday that the US Federal Reserve has made substantial further progress towards the taper benchmark, as reported by Reuters.
Barkin further added that the focus on the labour side should be on the employment-to-population ratio.
"Inflation has hit 2% and looks like it might stay there," Barking noted. "Looks like the labour market does have more room to run."
